I started my professional career at Baker & McKenzie, where I had the opportunity to advise large, market-leading international companies, and I began to specialise in the areas of civil, commercial and insolvency litigation. Given the international nature of the firm, I was able to learn about the operation and characteristics of several European judicial systems by exchanging experience with lawyers from various European countries.
I subsequently joined Garrigues, specifically, the litigation, arbitration, restructuring and insolvency department, where I have spent most of my professional career.
I have gained experience in advising and defending clients on various matters, including corporate disputes; construction defects; evictions; the termination, performance and interpretation of all types of civil and commercial contracts; dissolutions and corporate liquidations; property law; liability in tort, … I also provided advise in insolvency proceedings, both in defence of debtors and of creditors.
Throughout my professional career, I have learned a specific way of working and providing legal services where honesty, perseverance, trust and excellence must prevail.
